Backpack Buddies Ministry
Backpack Buddies...a ministry of First Baptist Church,
Pensacola, FL, reaching children in our community, one weekend at
a time. You can be a part of this ministry through giving, volunteering and
praying. We are ministering to 56 families, and 159 children at C.A. Weis
Elementary School each weekend by sending home kid-friendly food and
snacks. We pack the food on Wednesday nights and the Delivery Team
delivers the food to the school on Fridays. We can feed one child for 14
weeks for just $50. In John 13:34, Jesus says, “Love one another”.
I cannot think of a better way to love others than by sharing our resources
and our time.
