The First Baptist family of faith gathers on most Sunday evenings at 6:00 for a time of inspiration, instruction and fellowship. In addition, it's always a special atmosphere of robust congregational singing as we meet in Pleitz Chapel.

Our pastor, Dr. Barry Howard, is our regular speaker; however, additional speakers are frequently featured in our Evening Chapels. Other ministers on our church staff, lay leaders within our church fellowship, and special guest speakers from outside our church, contribute to the programming throughout the year.

On many Sunday evenings, special music groups and soloists share in our Evening Chapels. You'll hear from our Singing Seniors, Chapel Choir, Clarion Choir, Worship Teams, and Children's Choirs - as well as soloists - at various times.

During seasonal times of the year, as well as select other times, this Evening Chapel will give way to special, full-fledged musical programming (December Christmas programs, May & June "year-end" programs, August Concerts, etc.). Also, on certain announced holiday and summer weekends, members are encouraged to spend time with families on Sunday evenings.

All are encouraged to make Evening Chapel at Pensacola's First Baptist Church the Sunday night place to be. See you in the Chapel!
